Sunday May, 9, 2015. The Kokosing Gap Trail is a central portion of the Ohio to Erie Trail, currently connecting Mt. Vernon to Danville, about 13 miles one way.
We had a great turnout – 14 riders. The weather was exceptional. Lin officially declared it “A beautiful day”. The ride was uneventful except for Bill’s disk brake malfunction. Oddly enough, we were outnumbered on the trail by trikes, maybe 20 or so. Indeed two and three wheeled recumbents seemed to rule the trail.
The post-ride repast at Jakes was a celebration of deep fried mushrooms and “Not Your Father’s Rootbeer”. Ask Susan.
