Following the ticketing of several bicyclists who were riding on the sidewalk along Michigan Avenue last year StreetsBlog came to their defense with a piece that poked fun at the idea that riding on the sidewalk was all that dangerous for pedestrians.

That would not have been in such poor taste were it not for all the blathering that these same folks do about ‘cars in the bike lane‘. Why is it so difficult for cyclists to follow the Golden Rule?
