I believe that it was probably chaotic, confusing, horrific and over in seconds.
I believe that neither you nor I nor CLP were there, or know exactly what happen.
I believe that eyewitnesses and news reports often get it wrong.
I believe that the officers on the scene probably witnessed traumatizing injuries and deaths, that they rendered a lot of aid and may have saved lives, and that they will still have a lot of sleepless nights wondering if there was something more they could have done.
And I believe it is in poor taste to take a few headlines and start carrying the banner of “this is the cops fault” because it’s easy to “hate the man.”
So why don’t you all chill out and wait for the investigation to be completed, which is certainly in progress, before you go laying the deaths of innocent people at the feet of officers you’ve never met.
I swear to god, you people are so ready to crucify any driver that so much as encroaches on your space, and then someone runs down 25 people, killing two of them, and you want to blame it on someone besides the driver. Is your bloodlust never slaked?

Learn to approach others as indivduals. We are not a hive mind.
Really, Howard? Is that the best you’ve got? Between you and your fellow WASP, Vilda I really cannot tell the difference in your thinking. I hope you keep this fantasy of independent thinking going long enough to see you through the next group diatribe on dangerous motorists.
It’s funny how well a graphic artist like BikeFace can so easily capture the “hive mind“.
Seriously, the ChainLink Forum reads better when have your headphones on and you are listening to the Bee Gees belt out your hive anthem, Hive Talkin’, er Jive Talkin’.
Actually either song title works well. In fact Jive Talkin’ is the more apropos.
