“Children laugh about 200 times more per day than adults,” Elysa Walk began.
“Laughter is that outward expression of joy and it trickles thin as the realities of life and responsibilities come upon us,” the General Manager of Giant Bicycles continued. “But that joy can be rekindled. And I want to share with you how the simple act of riding a bicycle can make you laugh like a kid again.”
In her recent TEDx talk at the VailWomen event, Walk shared an inspiring narrative and memorable call to action. She described how she discovered the sheer happiness of bicycling as a pig-tailed young girl and rekindled a new and deeper understanding of the joy of cycling after a grueling, 900-kilometer ride around the island of Taiwan with Giant executives.
