The meal was as usual delicious. Lots of new faces this year and also the place has had a major renovation. The bathrooms are done up in stainless steel fixtures. The floors are newly terra-cotta tiled. And the tables and chairs have been upgraded as well.
Despite the crowd being new faces everyone was friendly and we all talked and chatted about the holidays. I noticed quite a few parents in their 50s who were accompanying their now adult children to the cafe.
And of course lots of couples with kids and grand parents in tow.
