This week your SF Bicycle Coalition is offering the first ever Intro to Urban Bicycling Workshop in partnership with Bay Area Bike Share. Have you had a chance to ride one of those new, pretty mint bikes yet? Are you unsure of the Rules of the Road and looking to brush up on your skills? Come on down to the SF Bicycle Coalition HQ this Wednesday from 7-8PM learn the basics of Urban Bicycling — covering bicycling for everyday riding in SF, the rules of the road, and route planning. This course is a great introduction for people who are considering bicycling with Bay Area Bike Share or getting back on the dusty bike in the garage. No bicycle is necessary for this class and the class is free of charge.
While the Urban Cyclists “Whine and Jeez” Club Forum members have already expressed their opinion that this kind of educational outreach for Divvy users or most certainly for themselves (evidently they are “too good” for such basic stuff) at least their West Coast Counterparts have their “heads on straight“. Meanwhile we Chicagoans who are basically running a “Bluer than Blue” outreach for Leftist political activity that may or may not have very much to do with bicycling have our heads firmly planted in our collective anal cavity and appear to enjoy the air in that quarter of the known universe.
Cheers to the real cyclists on the West Coast!
