Michigan City, IN – Revisit

After yesterday’s ride in the National Dunes Park area we decided to revisit Michigan City, IN and find the Hacienda Inn that we missed yesterday.

We stopped first at the Dorothy Buell Visitors Center before heading over to Michigan City, IN. The parking lot today was packed. It appears that the Sunday sun bathers were willing to park the family on the beach, drive over to the center and park and then walk back the mile or so to the beach!

We found the Hacienda Mexican Restaurant and really enjoyed both the food and the ambience. It reminded me of the Kozymel Restaurant in Wheaton. There is a vegan option of sorts if you order something and have the cheese, meat and dairy removed. But still the food was pretty good. A bit more expensive than SwingBelly’s from the day before.
