Goodwood Motor Circuit, famous for the Festival of Speed, has a bigger capacity than previous World Championship venues and we are hoping to see over 1,000 Brompton riders on the track. A two day event, the Sprints and Eliminator will take place on Saturday and the World Championship on Sunday; camping facilities will be available for those wishing to be involved in both days and the event is expected to have a festival atmosphere.
In January, Brompton attended the London Bike Show. With many Brompton staff taking part in the Nocturne folding bike race, held on the Saturday of the event, it was pleasing to see Brompton’s Quality Systems Manager, Thomas Shaeffer, place 3rd in the finals.
Great fun was had at the North American Handmade Bike Show last month. The show provided a real opportunity to showcase the care and craftmanship that goes into each one of our bikes; of particular interest to many visitors to the stand was the hand brazing that is done in our London Factory.
This month Brompton will be attending the Taipei International Cycle Show; if you are also planning to attend, visit us at booth number L0425. A little closer to home,Brompton will make its inaugural showing at the Bespoked Bristol Show the weekend of 12th-14th April, stand number 2.
