It’s the weekend before Christmas and the Near North Side area is bustling with shoppers. The UIC Campus held a flea market today for those wishing to snap up some bargains. We took a slightly altered route up to the Native Foods Cafe in Wicker Park to see if we could refine it a bit. As it turns out you can reach the cafe using primarily Wood Street. So we rode due west to Wood and then headed north.
It was pretty cold on the way up and even colder on the return trip. I stopped for a couple of images of a horse and ride at the Alcala Parking lot and then later another shot of the new hospital building on the Rush campus.
Back at the parking lot it was a quick stowing of the bikes and then off in search of coffee to drink with our Boogie Bar from Native Foods Cafe.
